The team from WorkLife Training Professionals were at NEM Insurance PLC on Friday 26 April 2019 for an in-house training specially designed for NEM Insurance staff on Business Process Management. Twenty Six members of NEM Insurance staff attended the training programme.
The objective of the training programme was to ensure that NEM Insurance PLC continues to maintain a prime place in the competitive world of the insurance business. Businesses in today's global economy need to redefine their processes as existing processes might be too costly, too wasteful and often irrelevant to their intended purpose. Insurance businesses are based on trust and customers satisfaction are critical, therefore imbibing the culture of Business Process Management (BPM) provides the framework and tools to refocus business processes and achieve breakthrough improvements in quality, cycle-time and services while reducing costs.
Participants for the training were drawn from the ICT, Underwriting, and Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Business Strategy departments of NEM Insurance PLC. Though the training was done for only one day but it was intensive, interactive and educative. Participants were taken through;
- An overview of Business Process Management and Essential Concepts.
- Business Process Performance Management: Approach and Implementation for Insurance and
- Transforming your organization for Business Process Management.
At the end of programme, all the participants rated the training programme’s mode of delivery, quality of materials and level of interactions as excellent and are looking forward to more of such training programmes put together for the organization by WorkLife Training Professionals.
